Even away from Naples, the issue surrounding Osimhen remains a central topic for the Partenopei as they look ahead to the upcoming January transfer window. After facilitating a last-minute loan move to Galatasaray, the reigning champions are now waiting to see if anyone will activate the €75 million release clause, possibly as early as January.
According to the Italian newspaper *Il Mattino*, apart from the Turkish side, no club has yet made substantial progress towards meeting that financial demand. While Osimhen is admired, the asking price is considered too steep for most, despite his impressive goal-scoring tally—eight goals in nine matches, along with four assists in the league and Europa League.
These statistics have, however, piqued the interest of Manchester United. The club is reportedly prepared to table a bid worth €30 million, plus Joshua Zirkzee, who has not met expectations at the Red Devils. Napoli, for their part, are primarily interested in a cash deal, yet they have expressed openness to discussions if the offer is significant enough.
