Udinese’s up-and-coming talent Simone Pafundi seems set on a loan move to gain some much-needed experience. The promising youngster, born in 2006, has chalked up a mere seven minutes of play this season. As a result, the Udinese management has reportedly decided to send him out on a six-month loan to help hone his skills further.
According to Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Reggiana is currently the favoured destination. The club is reportedly making arrangements to accommodate him swiftly into the team dynamics. As part of these preparations, it appears that Stefano Pettinari and Eric Lanini could depart from Reggiana. Pettinari is said to be on Ascoli’s radar, while Lanini is reported to have significant interest from several Serie C clubs.
