Lautaro Giannetti, the new defensive reinforcement at Udinese football club, recently addressed the media at his unveiling press conference.
In his speech, Giannetti shed light on his decision to move across the Atlantic from Argentina, his country of birth. “After many years at Velez and in Argentina, I decided to take this significant step following an offer from Udinese,” Giannetti said at the press conference. Pleased with the warmth and welcome he has received from the club, he stated how content he is with the environment, the team, and the society.
Recognizing the intensity and the tactical nature of Serie A, Giannetti touched upon how he has always regarded Serie A highly, stating, “I have always watched Serie A keenly, especially before coming here. I think it ranks right after the Premier League in terms of championship standings.” He went on to admit that he is putting in the effort to adapt swiftly to the Italian style of play.
