Gabriele Cioffi, the manager of Udinese, reflected on his side’s recent match against Sassuolo in an interview with Dazn.
Cioffi said that he saw a team that was conscientious and respectful of the adversary; he commented that they deservedly took the lead in a game that was very balanced. However, he lamented two individual errors that cost them dearly following a numerical disadvantage on the field.
“I’ve also noticed positive aspects,” he said. Cioffi went on to commend his players, acknowledging the difficulty of the situation and yet expressing disappointment, hinting that changes needed to happen.
Referring to Lucca, the Udinese manager expressed satisfaction at the four goals the player has scored since his arrival. He concluded cryptically on the player’s future, asserting that only Lucca can determine how far he can reach.
These quotes were given to Dazn by Gabriele Cioffi following Udinese’s match against Sassuolo.
