Udinese has issued a report detailing the condition of Brazilian forward Brenner following his return to group training after a long-term injury.
The Serie A club’s report, published after yesterday’s training session, described the afternoon’s events at the Bruseschi sports centre.
The report stated: “The players who logged more minutes against Lazio engaged in recovery work, while the rest of the squad performed dry exercises alternating with possession drills. Reduced-field games concluded the session. Training in a group were Giannetti, Zemura, Pafundi, and Brenner. Tomorrow will feature a double session.”
The inclusion of Brenner in the group training is good news for Udinese fans. The Brazilian player has been sidelined with a significant injury, but his participation in full team activities suggests he is making positive strides in his recovery.
Further details on Brenner’s status and fitness levels, however, have not been released. With a busy fixture schedule ahead for Udinese, Brenner’s return to full fitness could be a timely boost for the team.
