According to *Corriere dello Sport*, Thomas Tuchel, the former manager of Chelsea and Bayern Munich, remains a prominent candidate to succeed Paulo Fonseca as Milan’s head coach following the derby against Inter.
However, Giorgio Furlani is reportedly concerned about Tuchel’s high salary demands, despite the coach’s willingness to negotiate.
Furlani fears that Tuchel’s requested wage is significantly beyond Milan’s financial capabilities.
“The agreement under these conditions is almost impossible,” a source close to the negotiations revealed.
