Nicolò Schira, a market expert, has revealed an intriguing insight on the summer transfer dealings of AC Milan on his X profile.
“Juventus and Milan had shown interest in Samu Omorodion (born in 2004) last August,” Schira stated, adding that this came “after the deal with Chelsea fell through. He was Maresca’s primary target as a new striker.”
However, Porto secured Omorodion from Atlético Madrid for €15 million.
Despite this, “Atlético holds a 50% stake on any future sale,” Schira disclosed.
This revelation adds another layer to the complex web of summer transfers involving some of Europe’s top clubs.
