In the coming days, Kia Joorabchian, the agent representing the Dutch forward, is expected to hold talks with Manchester United’s management to understand their plans and strategies regarding the player’s future.
Joorabchian is keen to assess “how Manchester United views Zirkzee’s role in the team”, says a source familiar with the negotiations in Tuttosport.
Should the discussions indicate an openness from Manchester United to negotiate, it is anticipated that Juventus will step up their pursuit with a formal offer.
