Arsenal have reportedly reignited their interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Italian source Tuttosport. Mikel Arteta, the Gunners’ manager, is said to have identified the Serbian international as a prime target to strengthen his attacking options.
The saga surrounding the forward appears set to intensify over the next few days. A host of clubs have shown interest in Vlahovic but, for now, it is Arsenal who seem to be making a genuine effort to convince Juventus to part ways with the player.
Juventus’ sporting director, Fabio Paratici, and the club’s hierarchy could potentially be swayed by a transfer offer in the region of €60 million (£50 million). This is due to the uphill battle regarding Vlahovic’s contract renewal and his current salary, which is already stretching the Turin club’s wage structure.
The potential funds received from any deal could be reinvested into the transfer market. According to the same report by Tuttosport, Juventus could turn to Sudakov, a player who has garnered significant interest from the Italian club.
