In recent commentary to La Repubblica, Alberto Fabbian discussed his son’s stellar season with Bologna, sparking speculation as to whether a return to Inter might be on the horizon.
Alberto Fabbian, father of the Bologna midfielder, broached the topic of his son’s potential return to Inter. This seems particularly noteworthy given the current focus on transfers.
Concerning his son’s future, Alberto stated, “He loves Where he is, and initially, we didn’t know how it would go. Inter’s youth system is significant, but Bologna is a whole different beast – it’s the big leagues. The Serie A is even more challenging. He’s doing extremely well, at the start he played only a bit, but he’s found his groove with his teammates. They’re a young, motivated squad, under a great coach. My son’s happy there. He loves the way Thiago Motta likes to teach football. I’m certain he’ll spend at least two years with Bologna, but then Inter have a buy-back clause. We’ll see what they decide.”
