Transfer News: Como president believes selling Nico Paz now would be naive

Nico Paz, the president of Como, has shed light on the situation surrounding the Spanish talent amid the transfer rumours swirling around the Lombardy club.

Speaking to Calcio&Finanza, Como’s president, Mirwan Suwarso, addressed the potential future of Nico Paz, the Spanish talent currently at the centre of several transfer speculations suggesting his departure from Lombardy.

“We are fully aware of the interest that Nico has been attracting,” Suwarso stated in his comments to Calcio&Finanza.

He emphasised that the player is an integral part of their plans, adding, “Nico is a vital member of our squad, and we have no intention of letting him go.”

Suwarso further clarified that any decisions regarding players will be made with the club’s long-term objectives in mind, saying, “Our focus is on building a team that can compete effectively in the future.”

The president’s remarks come as a reassurance to fans amidst the mounting rumours linking Nico Paz with a move away from the team.

Details about any negotiations or offers were not disclosed, but Suwarso stressed that the club would remain transparent about any significant developments.
