Transfer Market: Lecce close to securing their first target

Despite closing 2023 with a defeat in Bergamo, Lecce maintains a keen eye on the winter transfer market. Even though Lecce’s good season isn’t overshadowed by the loss in Bergamo, the club is not overlooking their tasks in the transfer market.

According to Italian sports newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport, the Salento club is close to securing a deal for 24-year-old Bartosz Slisz. They write, “The Polish midfielder, currently playing for Legia Warsaw, is one of the primary targets for Pantaleo Corvino who is keen to strengthen the team’s defence in January.”
