Torino’s technical director, Davide Vagnati, is working on bringing Josh Doig to the club during this transfer window, to fulfill head coach Ivan Juric’s request for a left-wing back, according to sports daily “Tuttosport”.
Under consideration is Josh Doig, reportedly Juric’s preferred choice.
Verona, his current team, are open to negotiations but have set an asking price of €6 million, which is considered too high by Torino’s president, Urbano Cairo.
In response, Vagnati is preparing a counter-offer that he hopes will entice Verona into a deal. The proposal is to pay €2.5 million and provide Gineitis and Seck on a free loan.
However, the deal is yet to be finalised, with a discrepancy of €500,000 reportedly standing in the way of its completion. Additionally, it appears Verona would prefer to negotiate for Karamoh instead of Seck.
The negotiation is ongoing, and the situation is fluid as the teams look to agree on the terms of the transfer.
