The latest negotiations between Torino F.C. and U.S. Salernitana 1919 for central defender Matteo Lovato have garnered much attention.
As reported by sports journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Torino has identified Lovato, the Salernitana defender, as a prime target to bolster its defensive squad. With the future of player Buongiorno still uncertain, given his being actively sought by A.C. Milan, Torino’s Chairman Urban Cairo has already held a meeting with Lovato’s agent, presumably to secure his commitment.
However, it appears as if the proposed transfer is contingent upon the sale of player Zima, who has entered the market and is currently attracting interest from multiple clubs.
