A renewal of the agreement between TIM and DAZN for Serie A coverage has been secured, extending the relationship between the telecommunications company and the streaming platform until the 2028/2029 season.
The deal, which was finalised on 23rd December, ensures that football will remain on TimVision for an additional five years. This not just extends an existing partnership, but also underlines significant financial commitments and outcomes from extensive negotiations.
According to Italy’s Corriere della Sera newspaper, the agreement requires TIM to pay DAZN a tad under 50 million euros annually, which totals to approximately 250 million euros throughout the five-year time frame. Furthermore, there are also added sums linked to subscriptions.
