Ten Hag reports UEFA block on Ratcliffe registering Todibo

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, minority shareholder of Manchester United, has commented on UEFA’s ban concerning Jean-Clair Todibo’s transfer from Nice.

Manchester United is actively participating in the transfer market. However, as reported by Bloomberg, the club is currently facing challenges with UEFA over the acquisition of the French defender.

“The situation with UEFA has complicated our plans for Todibo,” Ratcliffe stated. This quote was included in the Bloomberg report.

Sources indicate that both Manchester United and Nice share concerns regarding the regulatory hurdles imposed by UEFA.

“This unexpected interference has certainly affected our strategy,” Ratcliffe added, according to the same Bloomberg article.

The difficulties stem from intricacies related to financial fair play regulations and other compliance measures enforced by UEFA.

As the transfer window progresses, Manchester United remains hopeful of resolving these issues to secure Todibo’s services before the deadline.

Further updates are anticipated as the negotiations and discussions with UEFA continue.
