Wojciech Szczesny’s retirement may soon come to an end, as the former Juventus goalkeeper could be on the verge of joining a top European club once again, this time possibly Barcelona.
The Blaugrana are currently dealing with the injury of Marc-André ter Stegen, which has forced the team to look for a new goalkeeper for the season. According to Chiringuito TV, Ter Stegen’s backup, Inaki Pena, has not fully convinced coach Hansi Flick, nor have the free agents Keylor Navas, Jordi Masip, and Loris Karius.
Szczesny is seen as a high-level option. Despite not having played since the European Championship, it is believed that he will not take long to get back into top shape.
Adding to the case for his arrival, his national teammate Robert Lewandowski is also in favour of the potential move.
