Stroppa: Cremonese leaves with heads held high, shame about the penalty

Coach of Cremonese, Stroppa, has shared his thoughts on his team’s defeat in the Copa Italia against Roma.

In his post-match comments to Mediaset, Stroppa discussed the fixture against Roma that saw his team, Cremonese, lose.

“We didn’t see the usual Cremonese,” he said. “Instead, we faced a very strong team. We were very close to pulling off the upset.”

Stroppa expressed his disappointment concerning the penalty awarded during the game, suggesting it changed the outcome. Also, he took responsibility for the first goal conceded by his team, admitting it was their mistake.

Stroppa further said that they made a similar error in their game against Palermo. However, he assured fans that the club is doing well in the league, and asserted his commitment to hard work to maintain their current run. He concluded, “We are doing very well in the championship, we need to work a lot, and we hope to continue like this.”
