Shakhtar Donetsk has reportedly reached an agreement to renew the contract of midfielder Georgiy Sudakov who is highly desired by Juventus and Napoli, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The touted renewal now includes a release clause of a staggering €100 million. A price tag seemingly out of reach for both Juventus and Napoli, who hope to negotiate a lower fee in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Whilst it seems the Ukrainian club has managed to secure their asset for now, the inflated release clause indicates the high value they place on Sudakov. Consequently, any potential suitors, including the likes of Juventus and Napoli, would need to consider a significant investment to secure his services.
