Sevilla’s director praises Agoumé: a rare phenomenon in football

Sevilla’s Sporting Director Victor Orta publically lauded the footballer Agoumé and his agent for the smooth conduct during their negotiations, in a recent press conference. Speaking out about the professionalism he saw during their deal-making, Orta singled out their honesty and reliability.

Orta was quoted as saying, “They had given us their word and they kept it. This is not always the case in football and I would like to highlight this publicly.” He further extended his gratitude to Agoumé and his agent for playing a constructive role in the negotiation process. In his words, he thanked them for “not having created any kind of problem during the negotiation”. The comments were relayed through a conference.
