Alejandro Camano, the agent of Lautaro Martinez, has opened up about Martinez’s contract renewal with Inter Milan and the potential for this footballer to join Napoli.
In an interview with CalcioNapoli24 TV, Camano provided an update on the negotiations regarding Martinez’s contract renewal with Inter Milan.
Speaking about the renewal, Camano said, “Lautaro is in a golden period at Inter and he still has two years left on his contract. Currently, we have good relations with the club, and I am in touch with Inter, having been the agent for Hector Cuper, the former nerazzurri coach. Indeed, our relations remain good, we are maintaining an open dialogue and we can approach the conversation with serenity, given Lautaro has another two years on his contract. He knows that, at present, the most important thing is Inter.”
When asked about the potential of Martinez’s future at Napoli, Camano did not deny the appeal of the club, especially for an Argentinian player.
“For an Argentinian, it is always fascinating to wear the Napoli shirt. However, the reality is that Lautaro is content at Inter and he still has two years on his contract,” said Camano. “Maradona was a sentiment for Argentina. And as for my relations with De Laurentiis? I represent Mayoral, Hakimi and Negredo, whom I discussed with Napoli: the club discusses everything with me.”
