Saudi League Director: Top Players like Mbappé Know Where We Are

Michael Emenalo, the sporting director of the Saudi League, has hinted at a potential move for Kylian Mbappé to Saudi Arabia. He revealed to Marca that conversations with the French footballer are ongoing, although the direction of his future remains unclear.

“We’ve initiated the dialogue, but we don’t yet know what his intentions are,” Emenalo disclosed. As he explained, the Saudi League is keen for world-class talent like Mbappé to know of their proud footballing position. “Every player of this magnitude knows where we are,” he stated.

Indicating the possible interest in the Paris Saint-Germain striker, Emenalo revealed, “If there’s any chance or interest that Mbappé could be a part of what we’re building, now or in the future, we can’t turn down such an opportunity.”

Emenalo went on to express his personal admiration for the 22-year-old forward. He maintained, however, that he could not comment on the depth of the ongoing discussions.

Furthermore, he suggested that if Mbappé was ready to make the move, there were teams within the Saudi League ready to accommodate him in their squads. Whether or not this signifies that a move for Mbappé to Saudi Arabia is imminent or if it’s simply part of speculations, time will tell.
