Sanchez could leave Europe amid South American interest

Alexis Sanchez prepares to bid farewell to Europe?

The Inter Milan forward is approaching the end of his contract, and there’s an offer on the table from South America.

As reported by TyC Sports, the future of Alexis Sanchez, the Chilean striker who will leave Inter Milan as a free agent when his contract expires on 30 June, could lie away from Europe, even though this option remains his priority for now.

“Alexis will evaluate all the offers he receives, but staying in Europe remains a top priority,” stated a source close to Sanchez, according to TyC Sports.

The 34-year-old has been linked with several clubs across South America, with interest particularly strong from Brazilian and Argentine teams.

“South America is definitely an option for Alexis, especially given the offers coming in,” the source continued. “However, he has not made any decisions yet and is still considering his future.”

Sanchez, who has had a storied career in Europe with stints at Barcelona, Arsenal, and Manchester United before joining Inter Milan, is reportedly keen on continuing to play at a competitive level.

Another close associate of the player mentioned, “His time in Europe has been highly successful, and he believes he still has something to offer at this level.”

Sanchez’s departure would mark the end of his two-year spell with Inter Milan, during which he has contributed significantly to the team’s success.

As the 30 June deadline approaches, the football world will be watching closely to see where the Chilean forward decides to take his talents next.

The footballer himself has yet to make a public statement on his future, keeping fans and clubs alike in suspense.
