Agustin Alvarez, the Sassuolo forward, has officially made a move to Serie B club Sampdoria on loan. The Genoese club recently announced this move as their first signing in the winter transfer window.

A statement from the Sampdoria reads, “U.C. Sampdoria announces the temporary acquisition of the sports performance rights of footballer Agustin Alvarez Martinez (born in San Bautista, Uruguay, on 19 May 2001) from U.S. Sassuolo Calcio.” According to the source, the striker will be tied to the Blucerchiati (Sampdoria) until 30 June 2024.
