Juventus has secured the commitment of Samardzic’s father and agent, and is confident they will soon have the Serbian midfielder in their ranks.
This report comes from Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport. The “bianconeri” are reportedly ready to offer Udinese €20m, plus an additional €5m in performance-related bonuses for Samardzic. This payment will be staggered, similar to the arrangement with Locatelli, as a measure to mitigate financial issues.
However, rivals Napoli, also in the running, can afford to pay the full amount upfront, unlike the Turin side. As of now, it remains to be seen how these negotiations will progress.
