The signing of former Bayern Munich central defender Jerome Boateng by Salernitana is inching closer. This report comes from Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, who states that the German player will be in Italy tomorrow for his medical examination and to sign the contract binding him to the Campanian club for the rest of the season.
“Boateng will be in Italy tomorrow for a medical assessment and to confirm his contract with Salernitana until the end of the current season,” said Gianluca Di Marzio, according to Sky Sport.
Boateng had been unattached since the end of the last campaign when he played in Ligue 1 for Lyon. The central defender is set to kick off a new chapter of his career with the Campanian side.
