Salernitana’s Dia sidelined for at least a month

In a concerning development for US Salernitana, their forward Boulaye Dia is set to be sidelined for more than a month due to a leg injury.

According to an official announcement made by the club, Dia underwent diagnostic tests revealing a moderate injury to his left hamstring.

US Salernitana 1919 stated, “Boulaye Dia has undergone diagnostic investigations that have shown a medium level hamstring injury. The athlete will require at least four to five weeks of rehabilitation.” The club also confirmed that Dia has already begun his rehabilitation protocol.

This is a severe blow for Salernitana, who will be without one of their key players for a significant period amidst their fight to climb higher up the Serie A leaderboard.
