Salernitana secures reinforcement from Lazio

Sky Sports has reported that Toma Basic has chosen to join Salernitana. The Lazio midfielder has received a number of offers throughout this winter transfer window, most notably from the Bundesliga. Still, he seems to be inclined towards accepting the proposal from the Salernitana team.

The player’s decision was significantly informed by a meeting he had with Walter Sabatini and Filippo Inzaghi, who involved both Basic and his management team. The Croatian player is expected to be in Salerno on Tuesday, 16th January.
