The official statement from Salernitana welcomed Sabatini back to the club, portraying him as a football icon, a veteran administrator and a key figure in Salernitana’s historic avoidance of relegation in the 21/22 season. “His enthusiasm, his vitality and his desire to win along with his comprehensive expertise will distinguish his work,” according to the statement.
