In a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, former coach Arrigo Sacchi offered his analysis on Juventus’ recent game against Roma.
Sacchi paid compliments to the Juventus team. He felt they deserved their victory, outmatching Roma in a game dominated by speculative and unimpressive football. “Vlahovic played excellently, moving considerably, and his participation in the manoeuvre calls for praise,” Sacchi noted in his discussion with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
He went on to commend Juventus’ defence, asserting that they didn’t grant their opponents an inch. “Always focused and always alert,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. However, Sacchi also suggested that their performance was made easier by Roma’s lacklustre attack. He mentioned that team’s Lukaku hardly got touches on the ball and Dybala was underperforming.
