AS Roma have intensified their interest in Atletico Madrid’s Spanish midfielder, Rodrigo Riquelme.
According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Roma are preparing to formally submit an initial offer to Atletico Madrid for the Spaniard’s services.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who has impressed with his performances, is currently valued at roughly €30 million.
“Roma are very keen on securing Riquelme’s talent for the upcoming season,” an insider was quoted by Corriere dello Sport as saying.
The Italian club is reportedly eager to bolster their midfield options and sees Riquelme as a promising addition.
