Speculations surrounding Pep Guardiola’s potential departure from Manchester City continue to intensify.
During a recent appearance on a talk show with Fazio, Guardiola admitted, “I have yet to decide what to do next season.”
This uncertainty has led to rumours about the future leadership of the Citizens, with Rubén Amorim emerging as a strong contender to take the helm.
These speculations coincide with the anticipated appointment of Hugo Viana as the club’s new sporting director from next summer.
Amorim, however, has made efforts to distance himself from these rumours.
In a statement reported by football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Amorim said, “Hugo Viana and I have different paths. His move to Manchester City does not mean I’ll go too. We have a great relationship, but we don’t have to be together forever.”
