Real Madrid: Ancelotti not in a rush for renewal but…

Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has discussed his contract renewal ahead of his team’s La Liga match against Mallorca.

During a press conference, Ancelotti revealed his joy at renewing his contract with the Spanish club. “I’m very happy,” he said, adding that the contract renewal process was “simple and quick”. He was quoted saying at the conference that there was no rush for him for the extension, but he appreciated the club’s desire to continue with his services. Ancelotti reiterated that the length of his stint with the club is yet to be determined and hinted at the possibility of remaining at Real Madrid beyond 2026 based on the team’s success.

The Italian coach expressed his admiration for the city of Madrid, mentioning that he would gladly stay on into 2027 and 2028. The tenure of Ancelotti, who rejoined Real Madrid in June 2021 after previously managing the club from 2013 to 2015, remains to be seen.
