Adrien Rabiot Joins Marseille: Former Juventus Midfielder Officially Signs with Roberto De Zerbi’s Side
Marseille has secured the signature of Adrien Rabiot, who has officially joined the Ligue 1 club after attracting interest from both Inter and Milan.
A statement from the club provided a detailed account of Rabiot’s illustrious career, which began at Paris Saint-Germain.
The statement read, “Formed at Paris Saint-Germain, Adrien Rabiot made his professional debut with the Parisian club in August 2012, at the age of 17, launched by none other than Carlo Ancelotti.”
It continued, “The young midfielder quickly impressed with his tactical knowledge, technical quality, and intelligence, allowing him to play across all youth levels for the French team, from Under-16 to Under-21. With the Ile-de-France club, he established himself as a key player in his position, playing 227 matches and winning six Ligue 1 titles, four Coupe de France titles, five Coupe de la Ligue titles, and four Trophée des Champions.”
In the summer of 2019, Rabiot made the move to Italy, signing with reigning Serie A champions Juventus.
“With Juventus, ‘The Duke’ played a starring role in Serie A, winning the Scudetto in 2020, the Coppa Italia in 2021 and 2024, and the Supercoppa Italiana in 2021,” the statement also noted. “The left-footed midfielder even wore the captain’s armband during the 2023/2024 season.”
Rabiot has also enjoyed success on the international stage, amassing 48 caps for the French national team. He won the UEFA Nations League in 2021 and participated in the 2022 World Cup under Didier Deschamps’ management.
