French forward Kylian Mbappé has spoken out about his future with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after their victorious Supercup clash against Toulouse.
In a post-match press conference, the striker stated that he has yet to make a firm decision about his future, explaining that his current focus is entirely on the ongoing season.
“I have not yet made a decision because I am very focused on this season,” said Mbappé. “It’s very important. We have titles to win and we’ve already won one.”
Mbappé also discussed reaching an agreement with the PSG president over the summer, which has allowed the club to shield all parties and maintain club tranquility ahead of future challenges. “With the agreement reached with the president in the summer, we have managed to protect all parties and preserve the serenity of the club for the upcoming challenges, which is the most important thing.”
Mbappé emphasized that his personal situation within the club is not of significant concern, as it is rarely discussed. It appears that the main priority for him and the team revolves around success and winning titles.
“My personal situation, within the club, does not interest much: no one talks about it. The most important thing is the titles. We have already won one and we are determined to win others,” the French forward stated.
