Foreign clubs continue to express interest in Nicolò Barella, causing concern for Inter Milan regarding a potential summer transfer of their midfield maestro and a key player for Italy.
Barella has just returned to full training with his teammates after recovering from a muscle injury that sidelined him for weeks.
Despite his return to fitness, fresh rumours have surfaced about European giants eyeing the talented midfielder.
According to TeamTalk, Liverpool is the latest club to join the chase for Barella.
However, the Reds face competition from several other top clubs, with Manchester City reportedly willing to go to great lengths under Guardiola, and interest also coming from Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in Spain.
The English portal suggests that due to Inter’s “complex” financial situation, the club might be forced to consider significant sales next year.
The former Cagliari player is currently valued at around €90 million.
Nevertheless, these reports have yet to find confirmation in Italy.
