Postecoglou confirms: Perisic will no longer play for Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur’s manager, Ange Postecoglou, has spoken about Ivan Perisic’s future following his cruciate ligament injury.

In a recent press conference, Postecoglou addressed Perisic’s situation at Tottenham.

“He is working hard. He obviously has his commitments with the national team and wants to get back as soon as possible. Once again, it was a significant loss for us,” said Postecoglou during the press conference.

The manager had hoped that Perisic would make a significant contribution to the team this year due to his experience, drawing from his influencing presence in early matches.

However, owing to his injury, it seems unlikely that Perisic will play for Tottenham again.
