Miralem Pjanic, former midfielder for Juventus and Roma, has shed light on his past teams, his thoughts on coach Massimiliano Allegri, and the Scudetto race. In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pjanic shared some insights.
Speaking about the current state of Juventus, Pjanic said, “Juve now has more ease after all that happened in the past season and the same holds for what happened in recent seasons. They are laying the groundwork to rebuild a winning cycle. Winning is never easy. We made it seem mundane but in reality, it’s always something special. Now I see a true team on the field.”
Discussing Allegri’s aim for a fourth-place finish, he remarked, “He acknowledges that Inter is highly favoured for the Scudetto, but this doesn’t mean that he doesn’t believe in his team or that he won’t fight until the end. Max is a winner, he has proven it with facts, and I assure you that when he doesn’t win, he is not satisfied. Moreover, he is a great communicator, he knows well what the objectives are at the start of the season and he conveys them to the group.”
