Parma FC has topped the Serie B table just in time for Christmas, but there’s not much time for celebrations, as they’re due to play again on 26th December.
The team, under the leadership of manager Pecchia, leveraged their home advantage against Ternana, securing a 3-1 victory. Their win was aided by slip-ups from rivals Como and Venezia, which allowed Parma to extend their lead in the league table.
Additionally, they clinched the title of “Winter Champions”, a term popular in Italian football, a day ahead of schedule, thanks to their superior performance.
