Atalanta and Celtic are currently at an impasse over the transfer of Matt O’Riley.
The Serie A club remains in negotiations with the Scottish side, but the stumbling block is the transfer fee. Celtic are adamant that their valuation stands at a minimum of €25 million.
Despite the ongoing back-and-forth, Atalanta remain optimistic that a deal can be reached.
“We believe there’s a favourable resolution in sight,” a source close to Atalanta disclosed.
Both clubs need to find that crucial middle ground to finalise the transfer.
“Reaching an agreement that satisfies both parties is the objective,” another insider revealed.
