Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove has extended his contract with the Serie A club until 2028.
Roma announced today that Edoardo Bove, a product of their youth system and current first-team player, has renewed his contract until the end of the 2027/28 season. Emphasising the significance of his decision, Bove said, “This renewal means a lot to me. I joined Roma as a child, and I still get emotional recalling my initial steps in Fulvio Bernardini.” His exact words were quoted by AS Roma’s press release.
Bove, who made his first-team debut on May 9, 2021, against Crotone, has made 66 appearances and scored four goals for the club so far. He emphasised his gratitude to the club, stating that over the years he has grown aware of the place he occupies within the team, and thanked the club for the tools it provided him to continue his path in the Roma family.
Tiago Pinto, General Manager of the Sports Division, praised Bove’s commitment and performance. “Edoardo embodies the principles we always want to convey to our young sector players because he wears the Roma shirt with a sense of pride and responsibility at every moment of his daily life, on and off the pitch,” Tiago Pinto stated in the same press release.
He added, “Along with his technical skills, he has consistently shown a spirit of sacrifice and devotion to the club. It is for players with profiles like his that Roma’s future lies.” The club extended its congratulations to Bove.
