Official: Elmas moves from Napoli to Leipzig, club statement confirms

Macedonian midfielder, Eljif Elmas, has become the latest addition to RB Leipzig’s squad. He has made a permanent move from Napoli for a total fee of €25 million.

According to an official announcement, Elmas will join RB Leipzig from SSC Napoli on 1st January 2024. The 24-year-old will put pen to paper on a long-term contract, spanning four and a half years, which will see him at the German club until June 2028.

As further reported, Elmas will wear the number 6 shirt for the Red Bull side. Upon joining, he will head straight to La Manga with the team for a training camp on 2nd January.
