Official – Buchanan joins Inter as new player

Canada’s talented Tajon Buchanan has officially joined Inter Milan, according to a statement from the club on its website and a post on social media.

Buchanan hails from Brampton, a unique city located in the icy expanses of Ontario, Canada. Known as the “city of flowers” due to the numerous greenhouses and plant nurseries that define its economy, this is where the football journey of Tajon Trevor Buchanan, Inter’s new winger, began.

Born on 8th February 1999 to parents of Jamaican heritage, Buchanan grew up with a burning passion for football. This passion was fuelled further by Chrys Chrysanthou, his first coach at Mississauga Falcons’ youth team, who turned out to be not just a sporting mentor, but a life mentor as well.

His relationship with Chrysanthou led Buchanan to follow his coach to Colorado at the age of 15 in a drastic life change. Buchanan moved to a different country, away from his family, a change that subsequently prevented him from being registered by the United States federation.
