Following Carlo Ancelotti’s confirmation at Real Madrid, Brazil has turned to another coach for their national team, appointing Dorival Junior to the helm.
Carlo Ancelotti recently committed his future to Spanish giants Real Madrid. This decision meant that the national federation of Brazil needed to change its course and find a new coach for their team. Consequently, the federation opted for Brazilian Dorival Junior.
The Brazilian federation issued a statement on their choice. “Dorival Junior is the new coach of the Brazilian men’s national team. The press conference introducing the new coach will take place this Thursday (11 December 2024) at the headquarters of the CBF in Rio de Janeiro,” the federation said in the statement.
