Salernitana’s Acquisition of Boateng Confirmed

Salernitana Football Club has officially announced the signing of Jerome Boateng, the former Bayern Munich defender, according to a statement on their website.

Boateng, the German defender, was available as a free agent since last June after his stint ended with Lyon.

In a statement released by the club, Salernitana announced “We are pleased to have reached an agreement with the 1988-class defender, Jerome Boateng. The footballer has committed to the Garnet Club until June 30, 2024, and will adorn the number 5 kit.”.
