Official: Ajax Confirms the Arrival of Henderson in the Transfer Market
Ajax has officially confirmed the signing of English midfielder Jordan Henderson from Saudi Arabia. The details have been disclosed on the Ajax website.
In an official statement released by Ajax, they announced, “Ajax has reached an agreement with Jordan Henderson for his transfer to Amsterdam. The midfielder has been playing for Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia for the past six months.”
With the Saudi Arabia club, the England international who boasts of 81 appearances, had recently reached an agreement to terminate his current contract. According to the Ajax statement, the former Sunderland and Liverpool player has made a two-and-a-half-year commitment with Ajax, running until 30 June 2026.
