Nico González and Juventus’ sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli appear to have reached an agreement regarding the player’s transfer. An accord has been struck for a five-year contract, extending until 2029, with an annual salary of €3.7 million.
However, Juventus still faces a significant hurdle. They need to secure an agreement with Fiorentina that satisfies their president, Rocco Commisso, who initially halted the negotiations.
“Giuntoli has found an agreement with Nico González for a five-year contract to join Juventus,” reports the Corriere.
The focus now turns to Fiorentina, as Juve attempts to persuade Commisso to greenlight the transfer. Achieving this could be the final piece needed to complete the deal.
