Napoli’s Osimhen: “Premier League? I have other plans”

Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian National team forward who is currently participating in the Africa Cup of Nations, has spoken openly about his relationship with Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, and his future plans, including his dream of playing in the Premier League.

Speaking from the Nigerian National team base, he talked about his relationship with De Laurentiis, saying, “I have a really good relationship with him. He has always been close to me ever since I joined Napoli in 2020, and I also have a great rapport with his family. It’s significant for me to have a solid relationship with the team owner. We have never had any issues, and what has happened has nothing to do with my relationship with him or his family.”

Osimhen went on to say, “The president has always supported me, even off the field. I have given my utmost to win the championship for them. It’s always significant to have this type of relationships with the club’s owner.”

Speaking about his future plans and potential move to the English Premier League, he remained enigmatic but hopeful. He said, “Sure, for now I have different plans for my career. But, when the time comes, you will know everything.”
