Napoli uses Elmas’ funds to secure Samardzic

Napoli football club has successfully finalised a deal, selling Elmas to RB Leipzig. The sales proceeds are expected to be used for the pursuit of Samardzic from Italian club Udinese.

Club president, De Laurentiis, had always maintained clarity regarding the transfer targets. Now, the negotiations with the Pozzo family, which own Udinese, need to yield a positive result to secure the young talent born in 2002. According to Corriere dello Sport, the deal is set at twenty million euros with an additional bonus of five million.
