Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of Napoli, is reportedly keen on reinforcing his team in the current transfer window and has apparently put forth a significant offer to Udinese.
This was revealed by Corriere dello Sport, which stated that De Laurentiis has tabled a €40 million bid for Udinese players Samardzic and Perez.
De Laurentiis’ close rapport with the Pozzo family, who own Udinese, is expected to facilitate a successful negotiation.
However, any potential transfer of the two players is still uncertain. This was confirmed by Federico Balzaretti in an interview with Sky, where he expressed reservations about their departure. It is still unclear how these negotiations will pan out, and all eyes are now on Udinese’s response to Napoli’s substantial offer.
